December Daily: Show and Tell Friday

Please scroll to the bottom to see my exciting addition to this post!

Today I'll join in with Kelli's Show and Tell Friday for my December Daily post. As some of you may know, last Friday night I was honored to speak at the ladies' Christmas Tea at Greater Vancouver Baptist Church. One of my blog friends, Deanna, took pictures of the tables the ladies decorated, and I want to share those pictures with you (after I get permission to steal her pictures!), but today I want to show you how the ladies blessed me last week.

The ladies of GVBC gave me this beautiful tea-for-one set. It's called Blue Ribbons, from Maxwell & Williams.

At first I didn't understand "blue ribbons" because I was focused on the gorgeous roses, but then I saw the blue ribbon interwoven with the roses. Isn't it beautiful?! I just love it, and I've already served myself my favorite tea from it!

I felt like such a lady of leisure with my own little personal teapot! ;)

Thank you, ladies of GVBC, for opening your hearts to me last week, and for your beautiful gift to me. I will always cherish this little teapot and the memories I made with you last week!

And thank you to Kelli at There Is No Place Like Home for hosting Show & Tell Friday each week!

Edited to add that I just found another piece to this set! I was looking at the other pieces in this pattern on the manufacturer's website, when I noticed that the tea for one set had a saucer with it, but I didn't have a saucer with mine. So I went upstairs and got my box, which I had saved, remembering that it had felt a little heavy for just a box, and looked in it again. At the bottom there was a piece of cardboard that I hadn't noticed before. I lifted it up, and there was my saucer!

Here's my complete set . . . I feel like I just got another gift! LOL
