How To Manage Your Time

"Spend your time in nothing which you know must be repented of; in nothing on which you might not pray for the blessing of God; in nothing which you could not review with a quiet conscience on your dying bed; in nothing which you might not safely and properly be found doing if death should surprise you in the act."

  1. Hi Grace,
Thank you so much for this. I struggle with using my time wisely. I am a working mom and I do manage to keep the home running pretty well, laundry done and meals made. But where I struggle is with the pockets of free time that I have. I tend to squander those hours with diversions that, though they may not be actually harmful, are certainly not profitable. This is a wonderful quote and I intend to keep it handy as a reminder.
    God bless you,
    Crista

  2. Hi, Susan! You may not remember me, but we are the Raub family, missionaries to the military. You were staying with us on a camp site on Camp Pendleton the day the space shuttle Columbia broke up over the US. We've seen your boys at West Coast Baptist College on different occasions. So great to have found you!

It's so true that if we carefully managed our time by doing what we're supposed to do, and not doing what we're not supposed to do, we would be a whole lot better off!
