In the Midst of It

Let me tell you, we are in the midst of IT today! We're having some work done on our house (of the pest control, ie silverfish, kind), and the man said we have to be out of the house for six hours AFTER he's finished. We left when he got there. And where are we going to go for most of the day? The library , of course! Wes, Beth, and I are set up in the 'Quiet Room' of our local library, each with our laptops, doing things we might not think we have the time to do at home . . . like writing blog posts! I also have plans to enter some recipes into my computer (from a library book I've had for 5 weeks and still haven't looked through), do some Bible study, and make some plans for next year's ladies' meetings (is it really next-year-planning-time already?!). How Do You Handle It?

We have to acquire a peace and balance of mind such that we can give every word of criticism its due weight, and humble ourselves before every word of praise. May we learn to find the kernel of truth in every critical remark and give glory to God through every word of praise!
