Timely Advice

I just read an article from a new-to-me blogging friend, Bren at Pieces From Me. She reposted this article, entitled Pausing, which deals with the time of life when things begin to change for us ladies. I have begun to experience quite a few of the changes Bren discusses, making this article quite timely for me. I know that many of you are around my age or a little older, so I thought I would send you over to Bren's to read it for yourself.

As Christian women, we don't have to (and shouldn't!) use hormonal changes as an excuse for everything under the sun and to have our own way about everything. We can educate ourselves, ask our doctors for help, and warn our husbands (just kidding about that one!), and we can turn to the One who made our bodies and knows exactly what's going on in them. I know that may seem a little unpractical when you're in the midst of things, though. My former pastor's wife used to say, "We can talk to God about anything, but sometimes it helps to talk to someone with skin." So that's why I'm pointing you in Bren's direction today. Read her article, use what you can, and determine to make the most of a time that many of us wish we didn't have to go through - Yours Truly included!

Thanks, Susan. There was a lot of good stuff there. I am experiencing many of the same things as well.
