Seems Like Just Last Week . . .

I spent some time this week going through old pictures, getting some of Sam for Juliana to use for the wedding. As I looked through them, I kept thinking, "This was just a little while ago . . ." I'm a little misty-eyed this week - although I'm thrilled with getting a new daughter - so I thought I'd share a few pictures to show you why. These were all just last week, you know! ;)

    1. Doesn't it just kill you how fast the time flies?! I used to listen to "older" people talk about how fast time went, and I couldn't believe them because as I was growing up, it took so long! But now . . . now I understand!

  2. oh don't you just love reliving those past moments with your babies? I think my first born had the same little red and yellow outfit. His had a little pouch on the back, which reminded us of a backpack. We'd jokingly talk of him using it to pack his peanut better & jelly in for school. He was about 2 months old at the time! ;)

There is one photo you posted which made me gasp as I thought you had a photo of my sister in her adulthood! I know you two attended Tabernacle Christian School together! You really resemble her in that third picture down!!!

    1. My hair used to be a lot more red, and Rita and I are the same age. When I looked at that picture, I could see what you were talking about! Rita and I were in the same class for one semester at Tabernacle, in 4th grade. I think it's amazing that we met again so many years later and so far apart.
