An Old-Fashioned Steam Railway

Last Monday, the homeschoolers of our church got together for a field trip to the Kettle Valley Steam Railway in Summerland, BC. We all loved it! Here are some pictures from the day.

The rest of the pictures are of the scenery we saw on our ride. The railway cuts through orchards and vineyards, and there were many beautiful homes along the side of the tracks. I want to live there! The apples were just ripe, and we saw lots of workers in the orchards harvesting them. Enjoy a glimpse of our Beautiful British Columbia!

  2. Beautiful! I noticed that the church family you included has three boys and a girl... and it looks like the girl is their 3rd.... JUST like our family!!! :-)

    1. Yes, that's their family order! Their little girl is in my class on Wed. nights. They're a great joy in our church, as are all our families! :)
