Vintage ByGrace: A Mother's Function

Photo by stormwarning

I've had this little poem for a long time, since my own children were little. It speaks so clearly to the importance of a mother's role in her children's lives, so I wanted to revisit the original posting of the poem on my blog from November 7, 2005 . . .

To be Queen Elizabeth within a definite area,
deciding celebrations, labors, banquets, and holidays;
To be Sears within a certain area, providing toys, boots, cakes, and books;
Read the entire post, A Mother's Function . . .

Join me on Fridays for more Vintage ByGrace!
