Seven Years in Canada

Today marks seven years since we moved to Canada! We’re so busy this week with Vacation Bible School that I hadn’t even thought of it until Beth texted me this afternoon . . . after she realized it!

It’s amazing that we’ve lived here for seven years already. Some things have changed:

~ We have no children living at home anymore

~ We live in a different city

~ We’re ministering at a different church, to a different group of people

~ We are seven years older!

Some things have not changed:

~ We are still in the ministry

~ We still believe the fundamentals of the faith

~ We still love the people God has given us

~ We still want to spend the rest of our lives here

~ We still love living in Canada!

Please continue to pray for us as we serve here. There are times when we don’t see how we can continue on, but the Lord always provides strength or finances or guidance or whatever we need to stay. Yes, there have been times in the past seven years when we’ve wondered what the next step was! We continue to trust Him and seek to do His perfect will. Thank you for your prayers, and thanks to many of you for your financial support!

  6. So encouraging to read about those who are being faithful to what God has called them to do - and who are happy to do it! Praying God will give you a special blessing as you "celebrate" this anniversary!
