Let a man go to a psychiatrist and what does he become? An adjusted sinner. Let a man go to a physician and what does he become? A healthy sinner. Let a man achieve wealth and what does he become? A wealthy sinner. Let a man join a church, sign a card, and turn over a new leaf and what does he become? A religious sinner. But let him go in sincere repentance and faith to the foot of Calvary's cross, and what does he become? A new creature in Jesus Christ, forgiven, reconciled, with meaning and purpose in his life and on the way to marvelous fulfillment in God's will.

Some ladies around the Blogosphere have been posting pictures of themselves going about their everyday routine in dresses. Building An Effective Scripture Journal

Have you ever had a dream that you were witnessing to someone, and you turned to a familiar passage of Scripture, only to find it missing from your Bible? No matter how much you searched for it, it just wasn't there? No? Maybe I'm the only one who has had a dream like that, but maybe in real life, you've wondered where to find a certain Scripture for a specific problem, but you couldn't remember where to find it. Yes, there are concordances to look up key words, but it would be nice if you just had your own topical reference so you could look up Scripture passages that mean the most to you and the issues you face in daily life. I reviewed the book What Do I Know about My God? by Mardi Collier several weeks ago. I am convinced this is the best book I've ever read on making God and His Word real in your life. Mrs. Collier writes about getting to know God better through writing out Scripture verses that have to do with His character and attributes. Begin

I first saw this several months ago on Jessica's Journal , who found it at Amy's Place , and I knew I wanted to do it here. I'm just now getting to it. I'd love to read about your Bible too! 1) How old is your Bible? Almost 9 years old; Wes gave it to me for my birthday in 2000. 2) Why did you choose this Bible? I wanted a wide-margin Bible so I could take sermon notes in it, and I wanted one with no notes or cross-references so I could make my own.
