The Week in Words

Barbara of Stray Thoughts hosts The Week in Words each Monday. Here's how it works . . .
If something you read during the past week inspired you, caused you to laugh, cry, think, dream, or just resonated with you in some way, please share it with us on Mondays. The source can be a book, newspaper, blog, Facebook — anything that you read. My only stipulation is that we keep it family-friendly.
I saw this on our library window:

"I find television very educational. Every time someone switches it on I go into another room and read a good book." ~~ Groucho Marx

I read this at This is the day . . .  and immediately asked HOPE's permission to post it here this week. She agreed, and said she had read this somewhere else and had modified it with her own ideas.

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape...
A woman of STRENGTH...KNEELS IN PRAYER...to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman thinks herself fearless..
A woman of STRENGTH...KNOWS COURAGE... in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of HER!
A woman of STRENGTH...GIVES THE BEST...of herself to everyone.

A strong woman walks proudly...
A woman of STRENGTH...WALKS IN GOD's WAYS.

A strong woman wears the look of confidence...
A woman of STRENGTH.... WEARS GRACE.

A woman of STRENGTH...is a virtuous woman.

Strength and honor are her clothing;
and she shall rejoice in time to come. Proverbs 31:25

Please drop by Stray Thoughts and join in with things you've read in the past week. I promise you'll read with new eyes to see what you can share!

I love that Groucho Marx one! LOL!

And what good reminders that the source of our strength isn't in ourselves, our abilities, our self-confidence, but in Him.
