Dog Days of Summer Giveaway!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Shannon at Rocks in My Dryer is very graciously hosting the Dog Days of Summer Bloggy Giveaway!!! I had wanted to do a giveaway for my 2nd Bloggy Anniversary, but time didn't permit it during that week. Now I have a good excuse to have a giveaway, just because I want to! It's a week-long giveaway party, and there are already almost 200 bloggers participating, with many more to come, I'm sure. You don't have to have a blog to enter any of the giveaways, but you do need to include a valid e-mail address where you can be reached when you win something.

I am giving away the book From My Heart to Yours: Devotionals to Inspire Women to Live For God by Glorianne K. Gibbs, wife of attorney David Gibbs, Jr., founder and president of the Christian Law Association. This is a beautiful book! Each devotional contains a short Scripture passage from the King James Bible, a devotional message, and a prayer. Every page has a floral photograph as its background - a feast for the eyes as well as the soul. This book helps direct your thoughts toward the Lord in the midst of your busy days, and the devotionals are relevant to women in all walks of life and all situations. You'll be blessed to add it to your quiet times with the Lord.

To enter my giveaway, just leave a comment on this post! If you don't have a blog, please at least give me your e-mail address so I can contact you if you win. I can ship to the US and Canada. My drawing will be held this Friday, July 27th, at 6:00 p.m. noon Pacific Time (I changed the time because 6 p.m. here is 9 p.m. on the East coast, and I don't want everyone to have to wait all night to see who won!). One entry per person, please! And thanks for participating in my first-ever giveaway!

  2. Count me in! :) I'm having great fun browsing Shannon's link list (while I have no "up and running" blog of my own at the moment :-P)... but it's even more fun to click on a name and see it's one of my bloggie friends. :)

  89. I have always been a christian woman, with life as it is (see my title); I continue to feel the need to be closer to God as my husband suffers from multiple mental illnesses. I know God only gives us what we can handle? with my husband being unemployed for 20 months due to depression/anxiety/delusions/hallucinations and 2 autistic sons- does he really think I need more? book sounds great.
    thanks
