It's been another whirlwind week! I was out of the house several times, so I've been reading blogs but not posting much - well, not at all, actually! LOL Our weather has been crazy, with lots of rain and wind, and another storm just blew in this morning. All the rain has stirred up the muckies in the water reservoirs, so we've been under a boil water alert since Thursday. We have to boil any tap water that we want to drink, but because of the turbidity of the water, it's brown. Even boiled and boiled, I have a problem drinking brown water! We're not even supposed to brush our teeth with it, although we can cook with it and shower in it. We bought 4 gallons of water Thursday night, but we haven't gotten more since then. Hopefully we can find some available today. Even when you can find it in the stores, there's a limit on how much you can buy. It's really kind of a scary situation, if you dwell on it and think of what could happen in a more serious natural disaster. But we're fine. I told Wes I feel like we're real missionaries now, having to boil our water! ;) It's kind of a family joke that we aren't "real" missionaries because our lifestyle didn't change all that much, coming to Canada.
That's about all I have time for this morning. We're having Youth Night at church this evening. All the teens who went to Youth Conference are giving testimonies about the conference, and Samuel is preaching. Then we'll have refreshments and games afterward. We're hoping that we'll have some extra young people in the service this evening! I'll try to take some pictures to share.
God bless you all as you serve Him today!
